Club West is a social club for women in Westchester County. Regular events, a private Discord community, and over a thousand women who have joined since we launched in September 2025.
We exist because meeting people in the suburbs is hard on purpose. There is no neighborhood bar where regulars know each other. No coffee shop where you bump into the same people every morning. In Westchester, every social interaction takes effort, and most women we talk to were tired of putting in that effort alone.
So we built the thing we wished existed.
What you get
Regular events across the county. Fitness classes, happy hours, brunches, seasonal parties, book clubs, crafting nights, volunteer days, professional development discussions, outdoor activities. We pick the venues, handle the logistics, and you show up.
A typical month might include a group hike at Rockefeller State Park, a Saturday brunch in White Plains, a weeknight happy hour in Yonkers, a book club meeting, a fitness class at a partner studio, and a crafting night. Some months we add seasonal programming too, like fall apple picking or holiday parties.
A private Discord community. This is the part members talk about the most. Hundreds of women active daily with restaurant recommendations, outfit opinions, random life updates, last-minute dinner plans. Think of it as a group chat with women who live near you and want to hang out. The Discord has sub-channels for different interests and towns, so you can find people close to you or connect over shared hobbies.
No planning required. Most friend groups die because nobody wants to be the permanent organizer. That is our job. The calendar is always full. You just pick what sounds good.
Local business discounts. Club West members get discounts at partner businesses across Westchester, including fitness studios, restaurants, and wellness spots. The list is growing as more local businesses come on board.
Who joins
Women 21 and up across Westchester County. A lot of our members moved here during or after the pandemic for remote work and did not know anyone. Others have lived here for years but their social circles got smaller after college, a breakup, or kids growing up. Some are in their mid-20s. Some are in their 40s. Some are moms, some are not. There is no single demographic, which is sort of the point.
You do not need to know anyone to join. Most members come in solo. The events are designed so you are not standing in a corner wondering who to talk to. You will leave knowing people.
What a typical month looks like
Every month is different, but here is a rough sense of what goes on:
- 2-3 social events (brunches, happy hours, dinners at local restaurants)
- 1-2 fitness events (group hikes, yoga, fitness classes at partner studios)
- 1 book club meeting
- 1 creative or hands-on event (candle making, pottery, flower arranging)
- Occasional volunteer days and professional development discussions
- Seasonal specials (apple picking in fall, beach days in summer, holiday parties in December)
You are not expected to go to everything. Most members show up to two or three events a month and stay connected through Discord in between. Some go to one event and lurk in the chat. Some go to everything. There is no right way to be a member.
Why a social club and not just Meetup
Meetup groups in Westchester tend to be organized around one activity. A hiking group, a dinner group, a book club. Each has its own organizer, its own calendar, and its own set of people. If you want variety, you end up juggling five different groups and five different schedules. And some of them post events inconsistently, so you check back in October and the last meetup was in April.
A social club puts everything under one roof. You are building relationships across different contexts. The woman you met at brunch is also at the hike the following weekend. The group chat fills in the gaps between events. Over time, you are not just attending events. You have friends.
The other difference is consistency. We have a team handling the logistics. Events happen on a regular schedule. The Discord runs all day. You do not have to wonder whether the group is still active or whether anyone is going to show up.
Where we are
All of Westchester. Yonkers has our biggest member base, but we have active members in White Plains, New Rochelle, Tarrytown, Port Chester, Scarsdale, Mamaroneck, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings, Pelham, and towns across the county. Events happen at venues throughout Westchester so you are never driving far. We rotate locations to make it accessible from different parts of the county.
How much it costs
$10 a month. That covers everything: events, Discord access, local business discounts, the whole community. Most individual fitness classes in Westchester cost more than that. There are no hidden fees or upsells. Some special events (like special events or workshops with outside vendors) have their own pricing, but regular programming is included in membership.
What members say
We asked members what they would tell someone thinking about joining. Here is what we hear most:
“I moved to Westchester two years ago and had not made a single friend here until Club West.” That is the most common story. Women who have been here for months or years with no social circle, and then they join and meet ten people in the first week.
“The Discord is my favorite part.” This surprises us too. We thought the events would be the draw, but the daily group chat is what keeps people connected between them. Someone asks for a restaurant recommendation at 2 PM and has eight answers by 2:15.
“I stopped dreading weekends.” For women living alone in the suburbs, weekends can feel long. Having a standing calendar of things to do with people who are expecting you changes that.
What makes this different from other women’s groups in Westchester
There are Facebook groups. There are networking organizations. There are mom groups tied to school districts. All of those serve a purpose, but none of them solve the problem of “I just want to hang out with people who live near me.”
Facebook groups are great for asking where to get your car inspected. They are less great for making friends. Networking groups are professional by design, so the relationships stay professional. Mom groups are tied to your kids’ schedules and age, and if you do not have kids, they are not built for you.
Club West is social first. The events are fun, not functional. The community runs on a private Discord instead of a Facebook group, which means conversations move faster and feel more personal. And there is no requirement around what stage of life you are in. You just have to be a woman, live in Westchester, and be 21 or older.

How Club West started
Diana Romero was posting on TikTok about her life in Westchester, sharing her authentic self, when she noticed local women engaging with her content and connecting in the comments. She offered a meetup idea, and the response was immediate. That first event happened in September 2025. Within weeks, over a thousand women had signed up. The demand was there. Nobody had organized it yet.
Club West was not built from a business plan. It was built because women in Westchester kept saying the same thing: “I do not know anyone here and I do not know how to fix that.” The club is the fix.
How to join
Apply here. It takes about two minutes. We review applications to keep the community safe and intentional.
