Social events in Westchester County this fall

Fall in Westchester is when everything picks back up. Summer is slow — people travel, they go to the beach, they disappear. September through November is when the social calendar actually fills up and everyone comes back to life.

Here is what is happening around the county this fall, plus what we have going on at Club West.

What is happening around Westchester

Fall is festival season. Most towns run their own events between September and November. Oktoberfests, harvest festivals, Halloween events, holiday kickoff markets. Yonkers, White Plains, Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow — all of them have something.

Sleepy Hollow gets its own category because it goes all out for Halloween. The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze is the obvious one, but there are events running all October. Worth the trip even if you live on the other side of the county.

The farmers markets shift to fall produce and start winding down by November. Hit them in September and October when the apple and cider season is on.

For fitness, the weather is perfect for outdoor stuff. Hiking, outdoor yoga, pickleball — all of it is better when it is not 90 degrees. If you have been meaning to check out Untermyer Gardens in Yonkers, fall is the time.

What Club West has going on

We hit one year in September. To mark it, we are throwing a one-year anniversary gala on Saturday, October 3rd in Yonkers. A year ago this was a TikTok. A happy hour did not feel like enough.

The gala is open to everyone, not just members. If you have been curious about Club West but never made it to an event, this is a good excuse. Members already have the details through Discord. If you are not a member, keep an eye on our Instagram for RSVP info — it is coming soon.

Our fall calendar beyond the gala fills up fast too. Weekly fitness events, happy hours at spots across the county, a few bigger seasonal parties, and the usual brunch rotation.

Our members also organize their own meetups through Discord constantly. Apple picking groups, hiking trips, pumpkin carving nights — that stuff happens organically because a few hundred women in a group chat will find reasons to hang out.

If you have been sitting on the fence about joining, fall is honestly the best time. The energy picks up, the event calendar is packed, and you will have plans every week if you want them.

Membership is $10/month. Apply here.
